"Locked in a
staring contest
me and a frog!"
Kobayashi Issa (1763 - 1827)
I've been called a bundle of contradictions
I enjoy my own company but can get lonely in a crowd.
I'm a bit of a tomboy with a hint of girliness.
I enjoy adventures but sometimes I’m a homebody.
I can be incredibly patient and caring or short-tempered and acerbic.
I was born in the Midlands but I crave the sea.
I over analyse practically everything.
Someone once made me some common sense from gaffer tape, but I lost it a while back.
(You can make almost anything with gaffer tape!)
My journal is part therapy: part communication, feel free to join in.
Burial
Mine is a body that should die at sea!
And have for a grave, instead of a grave
Six feet deep and the length of me,
All the water that is under the wave!
And terrible fishes to seize my flesh,
Such as a living man might fear,
And eat me while I am firm and fresh,
Not wait till I've been dead for a year!
